FAQ

PALS renewal questions

Where is the PALS renewal class held in Rancho Cucamonga?

At our classroom at 10788 Civic Center Dr., #240 in Rancho Cucamonga. Directions and a map are on the location page, and PALS renewal class dates are on the booking calendar.

My PALS card expires before my unit deadline. How soon can I renew?

Any time before it expires. Your renewed AHA PALS Provider card is valid for 2 years from the day you pass.

I work at the urgent care on Milliken Avenue. Do I need PALS or only BLS?

Ask your manager which cards your role needs: that is your employer's call, not ours. We teach both. We are not affiliated with San Antonio Regional Hospital or its urgent care.

Is the PALS renewal shorter than the full course?

Yes. It skips the introductory teaching and goes to review, scenarios and testing. Start and end times are shown with each date on the booking calendar.

What should I bring?

A photo ID, your current or most recent PALS card, and your precourse self-assessment certificate. Wear clothes you can kneel in for compressions.

What is the cancellation policy?

Move your class free with at least 24 hours notice, and get a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before class. If you do not pass the skills test, you get one free retest within 30 days. And if your employer does not accept the card, you get your money back.
