Two cards, one visit
AHA BLS Provider and AHA ACLS Provider on one class day.
BLS first
The CPR and AED skills you test there carry into the megacode.
Same-day eCards
Both eCards are issued the day you pass.
Employer accepted
If your employer will not accept the card, you get your money back.
American Heart Association Training Site and American Red Cross Training Provider
Every course follows current American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines, and your certification card is issued the same day you pass.

Who it is for
The pairing for anyone starting, or restarting, in adult acute care.
New graduates
Chaffey College's nursing students need a current AHA healthcare provider card before clinical classes. Graduates headed for ER, ICU or telemetry jobs can add ACLS in the same visit.
EMS
BLS for compressions and the AED, ACLS for rhythms, drugs and leading the code. Renewing both on one day keeps the two cards on the same two-year cycle.
Restarting
If your BLS card ran out while you were away from the bedside, this rebuilds it before ACLS, so your file is complete.
Chaffey College and American EMT Academy are in Rancho Cucamonga. West Coast University and American Career College are in Ontario.
Named as nearby places, not partners. Your employer or program has the final word on which card you need.
The course
Nothing is trimmed to fit them into one day. Each course has its own skills test and its own card.
Most BLS students finish in under 2 hours.
The full provider course, not the renewal.
Class day
Finish it at home. BLS has no precourse work.
Compressions, AED, bag-mask and two-rescuer practice.
Adult and infant skills checks, then the BLS card is done.
Rhythms, drugs and airway, then you lead the code.
Pass the ACLS exam and both AHA eCards are issued that day.
Class dates
Both courses run back to back in our Rancho Cucamonga classroom on the same class day.
Format: In person, hands-on, every course on the same class day

Your program asks for the BLS card. ACLS is up to your first employer: if your new unit wants it on day one, this class covers both. We are not affiliated with Chaffey College, so your program packet has the final word on BLS.
It covers the full ACLS Provider course, so it works for a first ACLS card or a renewal. If only ACLS is due and your BLS is current, take the ACLS course on its own.
The CPR and AED skills you test in BLS are the base of every ACLS case, so you walk into the megacode already warmed up.
Move your class free with at least 24 hours notice, and get a full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before class. If you do not pass the skills test, you get one free retest within 30 days. And if your employer does not accept the card, you get your money back.
