Group training

Why clinical teams certify together

Group ACLS, PALS and BLS built for clinical teams

Group training fixes the oldest problem in clinical compliance: every clinician needs a current AHA card, and every card expires on a different date.

We teach the full AHA provider courses to a practice, clinic or unit at once, hands-on: high-quality CPR, megacode and team roles for ACLS, pediatric assessment and resuscitation scenarios for PALS, and two-rescuer BLS with the bag-valve mask.

Put the whole team on one renewal date

When a team certifies together, every card carries the same two-year expiration, so your manager books one renewal instead of tracking twenty.

New hires who join mid-cycle can take a public class at our Rancho Cucamonga classroom, then fold into the group at the next renewal.

Scheduled around shifts

Clinics and units cannot empty the floor at once, so we split the roster into cohorts, such as an early group and a later group, and patients are still seen while the team trains.

We bring everything: adult, child and infant manikins, AED trainers, bag-valve masks, supplies and the eCards. You provide a conference room, classroom or break room with floor space, and we can come any day and at any time, evenings and weekends included.

Student cohorts for nursing and EMT programs

Programs near Rancho Cucamonga ask students for a current BLS card before clinicals. Chaffey College's nursing programs ask for an American Heart Association healthcare provider card, and American EMT Academy in Rancho Cucamonga teaches EMT Basic.

A coordinator can certify a whole cohort in one session, so the cards renew together too. We are not affiliated with these schools; the program packet has the final word.

FAQ

Group ACLS and PALS training: common questions

Do you come to our facility?

Yes. Instructors bring every manikin, AED trainer, bag-valve mask and supply to your clinic, office or facility in Rancho Cucamonga or anywhere in Southern California, with no travel fee. Staff who cannot make your date can join a public class at our Rancho Cucamonga classroom.

Can you train staff on different shifts?

Yes. We split the roster into cohorts around your staffing, for example an early group for staff coming off nights and a later group for the rest, so the clinic or unit stays covered.

Can we do ACLS and PALS in the same engagement?

Yes. Teams that see adults and children, such as urgent care and emergency staff, can take ACLS and PALS back to back or across two visits, and BLS renewals can be added to the same visit.

How do group renewals work?

Certify together once and every card expires in the same month two years later. Renewal becomes one scheduled event, with the same courses and same-day eCards, instead of a year of individual expirations.

What is the minimum group size?

ACLS and PALS groups start at 3 students, and the price per student drops as the group grows; BLS and Heartsaver onsite groups start at 5. Clinical teams can also send staff to public ACLS, PALS and BLS classes at our Rancho Cucamonga classroom.

How much does group ACLS or PALS training cost?

Group pricing is per student and drops as the group grows. ACLS and PALS run 3: $200; 4: $175; 5: $150; 6: $125; 7: $100; 8 to 15: $95; 16 to 20: $90; 21 to 25: $85; 26 or more: $80. Onsite BLS Provider runs 5: $80; 6 to 10: $78; 11 to 15: $73; 16 to 29: $68; 30 or more: $60.

Do Chaffey College nursing students need AHA BLS?

Chaffey College's nursing programs ask students for a current American Heart Association healthcare provider (BLS) card, which is the card the AHA BLS Provider course issues. We are not affiliated with Chaffey College, so the program packet has the final word.

Are these official AHA cards?

Yes. Everyone who passes gets an official AHA ACLS, PALS or BLS Provider eCard the same day, valid for two years. CPR Rancho Cucamonga is an American Heart Association Training Site and an American Red Cross Training Provider, so your team receives official course cards.
