Jurupa Valley

Why Jurupa Valley teams train onsite

Mira Loma's warehouse district

Mira Loma, now a neighborhood of Jurupa Valley, sits just south of Ontario and is one of the warehouse-heavy districts in the area.

Cal/OSHA expects a person adequately trained in first aid when no clinic or hospital is in near proximity. On shift-based floors, the simplest way to keep one on site is to certify a few people from every shift.

Warehouse and construction training

A young city of many communities

Jurupa Valley became a city on July 1, 2011, and it still goes by its community names: Mira Loma, Glen Avon, Pedley, Rubidoux, Sunnyslope, Belltown, Indian Hills, Crestmore Heights and Jurupa Hills.

Our onsite sessions travel to all of them.

Training crews in Spanish

About 54 percent of Jurupa Valley residents age 5 and up speak Spanish at home (Census ACS 2024).

We teach Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED and BLS in Spanish too, so a warehouse crew can train in the language it works in.

Jurupa Unified schools

Jurupa Unified School District runs the public schools in Jurupa Valley, from Mira Loma to Rubidoux.

A school can certify its staff in one onsite session, in English or Spanish.

FAQ

Onsite CPR training in Jurupa Valley: questions

Do Mira Loma distribution centers need first aid trained staff on every shift?

Cal/OSHA Title 8 section 3400 requires a person adequately trained in first aid when no clinic or hospital is in near proximity, and a person trained on days does not cover nights. Most Mira Loma sites certify people on each shift; your safety lead sets the count.

Do you train warehouse shifts in Mira Loma?

Yes. We can run a session at the start or end of a shift at your Mira Loma site, with every manikin and AED trainer. Groups start at 5 students.

Which Jurupa Valley communities do you cover?

All of them: Mira Loma, Glen Avon, Pedley, Rubidoux, Sunnyslope, Belltown, Indian Hills, Crestmore Heights and Jurupa Hills, with the same 5-student minimum and per-student tiers.

Can the training be in Spanish?

Yes. About 54 percent of Jurupa Valley residents age 5 and up speak Spanish at home, and we teach Heartsaver and BLS in Spanish when you ask for it.

Is there a travel fee for onsite training in Jurupa Valley?

No. Onsite training has no travel fee anywhere in Southern California, Jurupa Valley included. The instructor brings the manikins, AED trainers, supplies and eCards, and we can come any day and at any time, weekends and evenings too. Your team provides the room.
